How Much Would Insurance Be For An 18 Year Old?

How much would insurance be for an 18 year old guy driving a 98-02 Camaro z28? I live in Los Angeles, CA. I been driving my dad’s car for 3 months and had no problems/pull overs/ tickets etc, i know 3 months is not much but at least some experience. I know it will be high but around how much?
Would it make much different if i get a Nissan 350z since its slower?
What are some factors that can lower the price..
Can i get the minimum coverage?

Your insurance wont be threw the roof if your driving a older car. Newer cars, especially a new male driver with a sports car, is going to have much higher rates. I am a 18 yr old female, so I can’t completely compare and I don’t pay for my insurance but I’m pretty sure it’s around $110 to $120 a month. I believe insurance for you (if male) will be around $125 to $130 at the very most a month. Your rates will not be threw the roof, but because you are a young driver they will always be high. Also shop around with insurance company’s and see if which will give you the best rates. A way to lower the price is to show your insurance company your report card. Believe it or not, if you made honor roll you will get a discount.
    Hope this helped!

it doesnt really matter how old you are as long as you have nothing on you records lol..
if you have 10 years of no accidents, you get 50% discount. thats why i used my moms name on my car :b
